November! When the desert early mornings can be chilly and the days pleasantly warm.
It's a great time to enjoy a visit to the date garden, sample dates and stock up with dates for Thanksgiving and upcoming holidays.
We have a large supply of 5 and 11 pound boxes of Medjools and 15 pound boxes of the nicest "not-so-pretty" bargain Medjools.
Amir Hajj, Barhi, Zahidi and some Khadrawi are in 5 pound boxes.
Zahidi and smaller size Barhi are also available in 15 pound boxes.
Our hours in November remain 9:00a until 2:00p on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. We will take some days off before and after Thanksgiving.
The 9 varieties we grow are Abbada, Amir Hajj, Barhi, Deglet Noor, Halawi, Khadrawi, Khalassa, Medjool and Zahidi.
We sell outdoors under the date palms.
It usually cools off some in October, but the days can still be quite warm, so hats and water are wise choices to bring along and it's always smart to wear tennis shoes or other closed footwear.
We are not accepting tour bus visits now. We may consider bus visits after mid October.
All sales are final.
