Days and hours are changing in May (as we will be short on helpers). We plan to be open 9-2 Mondays through Thursdays ALL of May EXCEPT we will be CLOSED Monday 5/25 for Memorial Day. Sunday May 3rd is the ONLY SUNDAY we will have regular 9-2 hours. We will be CLOSED Sunday May 10th for Mother's Day. The LAST SATURDAY with regular 9-2 hours is May 9th.
You may call 760-485-6317 to see if someone might be able to help you after regular hours or on the Fridays and Saturdays we are not open.
We still have dates for sale and to sample. We are almost out of Zahidi and Barhi, but still have lots of Medjool available and some 5 lb. variety boxes with 2 sections of Medjool and 1 section each of Barhi and Zahidi.
We have the nicest people who stop by to see the date garden and who enjoy learning a bit about the growing of dates.
This time of year we sell from Alan's garage just south of our usual spot under the palms.
Typically we open for the new season on Labor Day Weekend. By mid October we usually have most of our 9 varieties available.
The 9 varieties we grow are Abbada, Amir Hajj, Barhi, Deglet Noor, Halawi, Khadrawi, Khalassa, Medjool and Zahidi.
All sales are final.
Zelle and Venmo payments work well for us.
We also have a card reader for card payments
and can take cash.
